Our travel to the mall of America had brought us to the big city of Minneapolis. Ok so it had brought us to the big suburbs of Bloomington.
Mr Rams bent wheel could be adressed eaily here as there were lots of bike shops. Three out out of five bike specialist had said the wheel is gone – it was time for a new wheel. One said they could rebuild it. And one said you might be able to stand on it, have it snap back close to it’s original shape and true it from there.
Since the majority went with toss it out, Mr Ram figured standing on it could not hurt. And it did get it straight enough to ride. However the already stressed spokes would not pull it back.
REI had the best price for a wheel at $105 installed including tax.
OMG I wouldn’t do anything else if I could sell wheels for $100!!!
