Mrs Ram’s father ended up in the hospital. Mrs Ram did not like the sound of what she heard when she called and decided she needed to find out for herself what was happening.
Grand Junction is nearly equidistant from Salt Lake City and Denver so she had options on where to fly out. On average it was was cheaper to fly from Salt Lake but the cheapest flights were on Spirit from Denver.
But is Spirit a reliable airline? Mrs Ram discovered first hand they had some issues. When she arrived in Baltimore the door would not open and she waited 30 minutes for someone from maintenance to show up and open the door. She just made her connecting flight to Boston.
That Boston flight was fine except that it sounded like the plane left pieces all along the runway as it landed. Maybe one of those pieces was a door handle…
Mrs Ram’s father has finally been moved to rehab and is making progress.
