We have stayed at KOAs that have had tent sites that you can park at. Some have electric, others have not.
This KOA just north of Wichita Falls seemed surprised when we asked for a site like that. However they said we park near the pavilion for the non electric rate. That spot worked out well.
The only disappoint here was that in early June, with 90+ temps, the pool was still not open.
But if it were open, Mr Ram wondered if he would have been allowed in. The sign said no street clothes. His usual swimming trunks are zip off hiking pants. Of course many probably would not consider those normal street clothes.
