While sitting in El Vado we decided to stop at a brew pub we like in Durango, Steamworks. After driving for several hours we find this posted on the door
Google suggested SKA Brewery. However when we stopped at Durango Art Center, a woman there suggested Carver Brewery. We wondered why Google had not shown this as a nearby option.
When we arrived we were told it would be a twenty minute wait. We assumed the reduced seating capacity vess required because of covid. The real reason was that they were having trouble getting workers to return to work. Apparerently unemployment was more profitable than working.
Sitting at the back bar, our bartender Ellie pours a couple of tastes. Their Irish stout was one of the best we have had in a long time.
Mrs Ram order food and a root beer float while we talked with Liz, a local, sitting at the bar. She suggest we might enjoy the Moki Dugway and Cedar Mesa near Mexican Hat.
