Some of you recieve my occasional emails. I send them from an old pop3 email adress using Thunderbird.
It’s usually a quick process. Not the last one. The Captain’s Blog email refused to send.
This is were wilderness, #vanlife, and internet intersect to get Mr Ram in trouble. Cell signal and internet connection is often an occasional thing. Stopping on the side of the road when we have cell signal is not uncommon.
When the old email adress failed, we needed to get the northern unit of Teddy Roosevelt to get a new campsite. And Mrs Ram would rather not be just waiting.
After several attempts, Mr Ram finally gave up on that old email. After getting a northern unit camp site, he needed two more roadside stops to get everyone’s email address copied out of the old program, set up a new, online email address, and finally get that email sent.
So if you normally get an email from us and haven’t, your email address may have gotten lost in the shuffle. Send an email to [email protected] or [email protected] and we will add you back in.
