Large Fire Plug, Fire Trucks and a Ghost Town?

#vanlife .

A huge working fire hydrant?  Check.

It’s located outside the Beamont Fire Museum.  They had several of their older trucks.  Mrs Ram was amused by their fire departments initials.  Reminds me of Wakefield Track and Field.

They had fire gear and helmets to try on.  Colton and Mr Ram enjoyed pretending to be firemen.

Mrs Ram saw this sign on one of the trucks and wished she had it on a T shirt.

We headed toward the Texas Energy Museum.  The $5 entrance fee was too much for us so we decided to move on. (The Fire Museum was free)

We were surprised that there was no one on the road near noon on a Wednesday.  I guess Christmas week and 40F weather kept everyone away.
