Lethbridge and Canola

#vanlife .

More rain and cold drove us to a hotel in Lethbridge. We wondered again about our wisdom of coming to Alberta in July.

We did catch up with Mrs Rams cousin Lisa here before we headed to Calgary. We had a few beers and a great dinner.

She filled us in on those expansive fields of yellow. They were flowering canola plants, not mustard.

  1. Have the Rams ever visited the “Large Array” of radio telescopes or the Trinity site? Either site is open only on two days a year, interesting…

    1. We visited the Very Large Array in New Mexico before we started our travels in Sparty. The size of the installation was impressive. I also enjoyed seeing some common condensing units I had used in Commercial Supermarket Refrigeration being using to cool aspects of the array.

We have passed by the Trinity site but have not had the opportunity to see it.
