This rock, located on the road into the Needles in Canyonland, reminded us of El Morro with ancient petroglyphs. However Newspaper Rock had only petroglyphs. There were no engravings from later Indians, Spaniards or other travellers.
As Mrs Ram contemplated the meaning of the depictions, Mr Ram wondered why there wasn’t a large pair of scissors here.
