The New Mexico Rockhound State Park was in a great location for us to visit the Florida Mountains. And we were lucky it was open. It had been open to only NM residents and bathroom and showers had been closed until recently.
Making a reservation on my phone while at the Franklin Mountains, I hadn’t noticed that the site I picked had no electricity or water.
Still it was nice, large site
And they had great showers. We really needed those showers.
But I wondered why the showers and communal water tap are near all of the RV sites? Each of those sites had water and the RVs have showers.
