At Red Rock Canyon we were able to get a bike ride in. Mrs Ram also got very close to a bear again. This time we got a picture and his name – Smokey.
Red Rock Canyon Campground is many campers plan b site for Bryce. It was our first choice and we had a good site. Most sites had some privacy. They had flush toilets as well as a pit toilet on loop A. Showers worked well. Sites had a fire ring, metal picnic table and a separate grill. All sites are close to the road but the gets quiet at night.
There is a 12 mile bike trail to Bryce that was mostly uphill. There are several hiking trails including as short hiking trial across from site 25 and some great views.
