From time to time we head north to visit relatives in Canada, driving though New Hampshire and Maine. We can make the trip in a day if we want going up Interstate 95 and then across the Airline (that is Rt 9).
But why rush. A couple of great places to camp near Bar Harbor are McClellan Park and Donnell Pond. Check out the links for more info on these sites.
