Vulcan

#vanlife .

Space, Sparty’s Final Frontier.

When we saw the sign on the highway pointing to Vulcan we laughed. Did we have time for an interstellar trip?

We did not realize that Vulcan had embraced it’s inner Star Trek until a few days latter. Mr Ram read that their visitor center was also The Trek destination. Since we had visited the future birthplace of Captain Kirk, we knew needed to go here as well.

Canada’s interstellar wormhole made short work of the trip to Vulcan where we discovered a constitution class starship.

There were small and large nods to Star trek like a mural of trek doctors and a bust of Spock/Lenoard Nimoy.

The embroidery shop had a great sign as did the post office.

Mr Ram enjoyed a cup of Spockochino at the Great Full Cup.

Like many places we visit we arrive either too early or too late. Vul-Con was weeks away on July 26th and 27th, 2019.

Their tourism and done its job, dragging us in and getting to buy things and have lunch there.

We pointed Sparty back through the work hole and hoped the currents in Space-Time would return us to earth.

Live long and prosper

  1. All that is left is to visit Star Fleet Academy. Good to see you are out of the malls and parking lots.
