We figured since the city has falls in the name we should stop to see them. And the falls were impressive.
They should be. The 54 feet falls were built in 1987. This was built to “replace” the original falls that were washed out in 1886.
But of course the new Falls are an accurate recreation of the original, right? Sure. Its just that the replacement is about 50 feet taller than the original. And its not actually part of the river. And the water is pumped to the top.
But other than that its just like the original.
