Wine, Beer and Art in Old Town Cottonwood

#vanlife .

We had wanted to stop at the brew pub in town but apparently 3 pm is too early for a beer.

We wandered down Main St. and stopped in at Merkin Vineyards Tasting Room.

Lindy and Cory helps us sort through their options.  After talking for a few minutes Lindy poured us some of their “33”.  It was a great wine so we ordered a bottle .

Turns out the owner of the place lived in Mass for a while.  He was busy being interviewed for a TV spot so we did not get to say hi but we did buy his book.

While there we met the travelling artist Eric Junker  He is traveling and painting from Los Angeles to New Orleans (LA to LA).

Our next stop was Wine 101 where we met a couple from Sun City and had another glass of wine.

Our last stop was the State Bar where we ran into Cory and Lindy.  Apparently this is the place to go after work. We enjoyed Mocha Java Porter and talked to Mike from Pittsburgh who does accident reconstruction.

After a round a large Jenga we decided it was time to head back to Sedona

  1. Ok so maybe we spent more time drinking here than looking at art. It was still a great place to visit.
