Places to Stay

Salt Lake City - We stayed at the campground on Antelope Island.  Our suggestion? Don't do it.  Buggy and wide open.  They do have pronghorns and buffalo.

Bryce  - We stayed at Red Rock Canyon and drove 12 miles to the park.

Things to do

Bryce National Park - this is our #1 pick for things to do in Utah.  Take the Peekaboo and Navajo Trails like we did or choose other great trails.  The road out to Rainbow Point is on our list for our next visit.

Zion - We considered this park worth a drive by.  We probably did not need to stay overnight.  We did not see the Kolob Canyons in the northern part of the park.  Next time we drive through we will stop there.

Red Canyon/Dixie N.F. - We camped here and there are hiking and bike trails as well.

Grand Staircase - another park in Southern Utah that we did not get to on this trip.

Capitol Reef N.P. - Another one for next trip.

Kodachrome Basin State Park.
