Mr Ram was planning on driving to the Famalia Sagrada. He ran the directions to the entrance where he planned to drop her and then to the parking garage. That is when Google said we would be entering a Restricted Low Emission Zone, or as some call it, “The Green Zone.”
Our car needed to have a specific environmental designation and display a sticker to enter. Compliance was photo enforced so we would not even know if we were being ticketed till long after.
Checking with the person at the front desk at our Holiday Inn Express, he said that any rental car would be new enough that it should not be a problem. Now we knew what that large sticker with a C on it was. It was our ticket into The Green Zone.
