For our last jump into Yellowstone we needed to camp close to the entrance. Cooke City had a couple of RV campgrounds we could use.
Mrs Ram did not want to waste money on a site that we would be leaving before sunrise so we checked our forest road map and headed out of town. The first road looked a bit rough for Sparty and we had to backup.
The next area, Lulu Pass , took us up into the hills. The first few spots we saw were taken. As we came across the hill, Mrs Ram saw a rough side road. We passed by but then saw it went to a beautiful site.
We made it down that rough side road and were rewarded with a fantastic view. And it was free.
