I was reading a Money article in the Dec 2018 issue about retiring and moving to a new place. I will admit I am a sucker for articles on retiring and where you should live.
After recounting several people’s experiences about moving out of the country and then finding they needed or wanted to move back, the author offered advice for those considering a move.
Number one on their list of things not to do is the first thing we did – sell the house.
I guess if you can afford to hang on to that 4 bedroom colonial in the suburbs go ahead. For many of us, that house is the financial key to moving on. Anyways, a big colonial needs a young couple with lots of energy who might want to fill those bedrooms.
