Mrs Ram was looking for interesting places along a road we have traversed a number of times, I-10. She was surprised to see a state park called Florida Caverns.
Caverns in Florida? We thought we might need scuba gear to see it. The web site said it was a walking tour that required tickets that you purchase on the day of your visit.
Since it was raining, we met our guide, Mr Lu, inside the small, sparsely lit museum. After a brief intro we walked down to the entrance and went into the caverns.
Despite having visited some larger and more extensive caverns we found a number of beautiful formations.
