Mrs Ram was hoping she could enter the Florida CMSA championship but wasn’t sure she could find a horse. Her instructor from last month, Denny Chapman, connected her with Connie and Dan from Ohio and their horse Moke.
Mrs Ram got the last available spot in the competition, #137.
During practice with Moke she discovered he knew exactly what to do and when to run. When he turned the corner at the barrel he headed right for the finish. Mrs Ram knew he had plenty of speed but was not certain she could get all of her shots off. (I didn’t…he was FAAAST!)
Saturday and Sunday of the competition were beautiful days at the LCross Equestrian Center. They started foggy but the sun soon shone through and lifted temps into the 70s.
Mrs Ram had lots of fun and you can see one of her runs (yes I am slow but I get the job done!)
