Having cleared Visitors Control, we hoped to find a place that would welcome and guide us. We saw a sign for the Welcome Center. That must be the place.
The Welcome Center was a large building with a large parking lot. That was our first clue that they may not be welcoming us. The next was the collection of vehicles in the parking lot looked like everyday cars, not tourists on vacation.
When Mr Ram walked in he did find a desk with a woman in uniform. She seemed amused he was there but was able to give directions to the museum – just follow the blue line on Sheridan street.
She sid not have any tourist brochures.
