Our Galveston stop was another return to normalcy. We visited Mr Rams aunt and uncle and their cat Sylvester.
We enjoyed just spending time talking and catching up on things. In person.
We thought about trying to see the ghost image on Ewing Hall at UTMB. Parking logistics and concerns over campus security led us to plan that for a future visit.
We did get in a bike ride and see the carvings of trees destroyed during hurricane Ike on September 13 2008. These are in people’s yards north of the historic district.
On our last tree carving stop we met Beaver, the owner of one of these tree sculptures. His dog Julia loved to play catch and convinced Mr Ram to play for a while.
