This was a good stop for an overcast, cool day. We were lucky to grab one of the two free spots in front. Otherwise we would need to have parked on nearby streets and walked. Parking lots are permit only.
The woman at the front desk was helpful reviewing where things were and where some of the other garden areas were on campus and suggesting that we walk to the gardens since we had such a good parking space.
The green house area had several areas that Mrs Ram enjoyed more than me. There was a display of plants used be Romans at Pompeii
My favorite was the display of the many woods of the world. There are finished planks with a key to each one and descriptions of some of the oddities we see in wood grains.
We walked the area also there are several outside gardens that are worth the walk.
