The North South Campground has several different loops nearly all of which appeared to have many excellent sites. Loop 1 seemed like it was better for tents or small RVs. We found a site (#176) that had a view of the lake and a short walk to the restrooms. Restrooms were clean and hot water was adequate.
We had arrived about 4:30 but the entrance shacks was closed and there was sign indicating the sites that were reserved. We were to find a site and stop by in the morning to pay.
So is this a good place to stay? Probably. But we will need to come back to be sure. It rained almost the entire time we were there.
