We took longer than expected as we traversed the lower part of Pennsylvania. After stops at miniature horse place, antique store, a winery and a house that looked like a shoe we decided to camp at a nearby campground.
This private campground had fairly open sites. The tent site we chose was not as level as I would have liked but it was adequate for an overnight stay. The $25 fee had no extras as some public sites do. The bathrooms were clean but you needed to remember the code to get in. Needles to say by the time I got to the restrooms I had forgotten it. There were two showers in the men's room but only was working. They have no private changing area. After a number of pushes that was enough hot water. It was annoying that you needed to keep the button puched to get any flow. Other campgrounds give you 15 or 20 seconds per push
The $5 bundle of wood was enough for an evening fire and for small fire in the morning.
There is short trail down to the tracks and the rail trail.
As for other amenities there is a small camp store, a horseshoe field and a covered area for a large group. There was also wifi that worked ok from the tent sites.
I would say this campground is good if you are passing through or had something else you were doing in the area. It is not a place I would like to stay for more than a night or two.
