We headed to lake Louise in the late afternoon arriving about 530. The road to the lake was open and we did find a spot for our van Sparty.
Like other parts of Banff, the lake was crowded with people from all over the world. The paved trail around the like allowed people with flip flops and high heels to take in the view.
The lake was worth trip with it’s Jade colored water. (Color according to Mrs Ram)
There were unexpected bonus glaciers on the mountains above.
Unfortunately the road to Lake Morain was still closed at 6:45 pm. A visit to that lake will need to wait for next trip North.
