Little White Towns

#vanlife .

Southern Spain is know for having a number of small, white colored towns. Even before we had reached Ronda we had seen several from the highway.

From Ronda, we visited Setenil de las Bodega, a town known for many of it houses being built into its cliffs. Following the parking signs sent us through, up and then down depositing us in the parking garage.  Mrs Ram was excited that there was an elevator as her back was still bothering her.  The short elevator ride still left us a long staircase and lots of walking.

Our next white village was Frigiliana. A wrong turn here placed us just above the center in a free parking spot.  A short walk found us a great outdoor place for beer where could watch tourist busses arrive, unload their riders, then refill and leave.

Rain sent one bus load of tourist into our covered drinking spot.  When the rain subsided they headed back to their bus.

So these little white towns have narrow, winding streets and a number of small places that you can get a beer or coffee at any time but rarely serve food when these Americans were hungry.  They are small, cute and worth a stop.

But once you have seen one…
