After our hike in Davis Mountains State Park, we Rolled into Marfa Texas about 1:30 on a Sunday. We headed to Marfa Burritos, a small restaurant in the owners house. It was closed.
We were near the Wrong store which was open. As the owners said, if you didn’t like what they had, its the wrong store for you. It was the wrong store for us.
The Electric Light Museum turned out to be a run down bar.
We headed to the visitors center hoping to get directions to the unique art places we heard that Marfa was famous for. It was closed on Sundays.
We opted for a couple’s Blizzards at the DQ and decided to move on.
Our advice for Marfa? Pass through and stop in Alpine. They have a number of antique and art places in their center.
