This town is at the entrance to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. Years ago the entrance had been several miles from the town.
Clearly the town had a benefactor in government who could push the park service to build miles of road forcing everyone to drive through town to the entrance.
And the town has capitalized on it. There are trinket shops, bars and shows. We thought about a Saturday night show or Sunday morning gospel. We wre shocked, shocked to find tickets cost over $40 each.
We hung out and enjoyed the free music instead.
And contemplated the weather.
