We rolled into Ronda not feeling quite ourselves and were glad we had planned on staying 4 nights here.
We spent several evenings at a local bar, La Casa Puerta. Waiters Abdula and Yuri kept us well lubricated. On our our bery short walk to our bar, we caught some flamenco classes.
We even spent a day not going anywhere.
We did get to their famous bridge that connected the old city and the new city.
- Honestly as an American both sides look pretty old. (The bridge was built in the late 1700s)
Our day looking for local wineries eas not successful. Two that were supposed to be open were chained up. The GPS directions to the third kept tryjng to force us off road. Even the mostly paved roads were challenging for our little rental car.
Our wanderings did lead us to the bottom of the bridge.
Our Hotel, The San Fracisco, had parking 3 blocks away. Despite the walk, Mr Ram was glad he did nor need to search ffor one street parking. And the underground parking was quite nice with marble staircase.
Breakfast was another high point here. They had eggs for breakfast!
Also we started thinking of Spanish coffee as coffee concentrate. Add about 100% water and you have real (what Spanish call Americano) coffee. Both of us were much happier with our morning brew.
