Sault St Marie is on the border with Canada. Mr Ram had thoughts if walking to Canada but was surprised how long the bridge was.
Parking meters on the main Street encouraged Mr Ram to find free parking on a side street. That placed us in front a local art gallery, Alberta House.
We opted not to stop in the Grrat Lakes Shipwreck Museum even though it was free. (A rare moment, Mr Ram passing up something that was free). We also skipped the freighter museum ship Valley Camp and the tower of history (both of which cost).
We planned on biking here but discovered the bike trails were really routes along the street.
The Soo Locks were our reason to stop and will be my next post.
