As the sun was setting, it was still to warm to stop for the night. Crowley, LA, advertised as the Rice Capital of America, had the Rice Capital Brewery which seemed like a good place to stop and wait for it to cool off.
Their Dunkel was very good while their Red ale was OK. As we talked to the bartender we realized this was a true microbrewery. Their brew setup sat at the end of the bar.
After an overnight at an overnight at the Walmart in Sulphur, LA we headed to Whites Park and a kayak up Turtle Bayou.
