The hike to see Grinell Glacier was too long and had too much elevation for us so we opted for the shorter and much flatter hike to the lake.
We arrived at the parking lot about 8 am and got one of the last parking spots. I did need to put one of the front wheels on top of a rock to fit in.
The first part the trail was busy with all of the hikers heading to the glacier. There were several boardwalks along the way and an fun bridge.
The lake was beautiful and you see the water coming down from the glacier.
On our return, Mrs Ram was getting tired and her knee started to hurt. We realized the Many Glacier Hotel bar was closer to us than the van so we headed there….
