Why does Memphis have a pyramid? Though we think of it as a southern city it was named after an ancient Egyptian city and a pyramid seemed like a good choice to house their NCAA and NBA teams.
Both moved onto the newer FedEx Forum leaving the pyramid rarly used for a decade. Two years ago it reopened as a massive Bass Pro Shop.
Besides the usual Bass Pro things such as many stuffed animals and a large fish tank, the are live alligators, a pistol range and a hotel.
And a bowling alley.
I tried on boots while we were there but did not finds ones I liked. My old Montrails have been glued a few times and are ready for retirement. Mrs ram bought socks.
We had some fudge and talked with Michelle for while. She said some people never realize they are in a pyramid. I guess they arrived by transporter or Stargate.
