A horse with no name

#vanlife .

A trail ride in the Sierra Nevadas sounded  great.  Mrs Ram had booked a 2 hour ride about 30 minutes from our hotel.

We stopped in Quentar at Cafe Bar Los Angelos for breakfast.  Google seem to show a number of good food options.  What they had was Coffee con Leche and toast.  And coffee came in glass that was too hot to pick-up.

Heading back to GR-3201 we found a cycling event had taken over the road.  We has no choice but to stop and cheer them on.

We arrived at the Mountain Horse Ranch and a car pulled in behind us.  I got out to talk to him and he angrily pointed that he wanted to go through the gate.  I went back to our car and backed up.

He drove up, opened the gate and drove through.  I started forward but he stopped, got out and closed and locked the gate in front of us.

Really?

OK maybe he needed to do something before we came up.  Yet our designated time came and went.  We tried calling but had no cell service.  We yelled and blew the horn.

A half hour after our time we left.

Mrs Ram sent them a note and at first they said it was our fault got not going through the gate closed and locked in front of us or calling.  They finally refunded us but we left disappointed.

It did give us more opportunity  to cheer on those cyclists.
