After our second day in Durango we headed north toward the Havilland Campground. The woman at visitors center said is was beautiful camo and we would be minutes away from where the railroad was currently starting.
As we drove north we realized that he wind must have shifted and we were heading into the smoke.
We decided a course change was in order and headed west rather north.
