Geronmi was the second reason for coming to Fort Sill. After watching a mocie on him we recalled that he was sent St Augustine. It turns out that is false.
We then wondered we he ended up. A quick search revealed he ended up at Fort Sill were he is buried. That cemetery is located in the boondocks of the base
His grave site had numerous tokens, most of them pennies, that had been left in rememberence of him.
Chief Parker, a treaty signer, was also buried at Fort Sill but in the main burial grounds.
