A hotel and laundry break here but squeezed in some fun as well.
Lewis and Clark had to portage around 5 falls here, taking weeks rather than days. The falls are not as attractive now as some have been dammed.
The dams included hydro electric plants which gave Great Falls the nickname Electric City.
We spent an evening at the Electric City speedway.
And stopped at the C M Russell Art Museum.
They had more guns than I would expect at at an art museum.
We are out west so I guess I should not have been surprised.
