The Houston Arboretum and Nature Center and walked trails had an earthy smell and we enjoyed being away from the traffic of the city. However the roar of the traffic was ever present. There was no escape from that.
A 64 foot waterfall seemed like it would provide some relief from the sound of the traffic. In a place as flat a Houston, a waterfall of that size is not found in nature.
The Hines Waterwall is right next to a mall. Still we thought it would be a great place to take a break. Unfortunately there appeared to be no street parking and Sparty was too tall for any of the parking garages. Mrs Ram jumped out to snap a quick picture before we moved on.
