Driving north from mineral springs on our way to Copper Breaks State Park, we scanned the dial for a new station.
In past years we had satellite radio. At times it was our only link to civilization as we sat on the side of a mountain in the middle of no where.
This year satellite radio was not in the budget.
The radio in our van Sparty scanned and landed on KCTX 96.1. We did not realize that this station would be an enjoyable, daily companion for the next week.
