We came into Ohio from Pittsburgh through West Virginia. We noticed the bumps in the road and the rain in the air - it poured.
When we were driving to our campground we had to pass the public rifle and pistol ranges, The Campground, Hidden Hollow, had had a number of sites and we were lucky enough to have a brief window of less rain to put our tarp. The price was right but Mrs Ram was less than impressed by the toilets. Walmart may not have as nice a view but the toilets are better.
The next day we hit the interstates as we needed to be in Michigan. We did stop at the Ohio to Eire Trail. We rode a section of the trail from Akron to Barberton that was packed dirt and gravel and was easy yo ride on. It extends for about 280 mile right now.
Our other stop was Fossil Park.
The East Harbour campground is a massive place with hundreds of Campsites. We managed to find one of the more private ones. It was not very busy when we were there but I can imagine it being a madhouse in a few weeks
