A few people have had a few questions – We have a few answers.
So, you have been out a month, how many miles have you done?
We are in Gillette WY. If we drove here directly from our old house it would be 2019 miles. Our rambling has brought us to 3510 miles.
Do you have a favorite campground?
Medoc Mountain in North Carolina and Big Pines in Custer SD. Medoc had great sites, bathroom and was $18 to 20. Great pines was similar but cost us more but we did have electricity..
Favorite Walmart?
Only stayed at two and neither is a favorite.
Favorite town or attraction?
For Mr. Ram, the best attraction has definitely been the Star Trek Museum in Riverside IA and the best town was Beaver Crossing, NE. Mrs Ram preferred the Spearfish Canyon in the Black Hills for the best attraction. The town she would most like to go back to is Spearfish, SD.
How are you getting news? Do you care about news?
Occasional hotel stops give us a bursts of news from the TV in the lobby – most of it is depressing. We feel much better when we avoid news.
So what is the country saying about this crazy president of ours?
Mr. Ram notes that most people live outside the political bubble so most politics does not come up – except about taxes. Everyone thinks their taxes are too high. Mrs Ram felt people did not like him but seem to like what he is doing.
Most surprising fact after being out for a month?
For Mrs. Ram its all of the land out in “fly over country” asd its not flat. For Mr. Ram, after getting rid so many things and selling our house, we still have too much stuff.
