We enjoy wine. That has led to wineries all over the US. At some point one if us read that Kelowna, BC was the wine capital of Canada. That is how it landed on our list if places to visit.
Our expectations for Kelowna were shaped by the other wine areas we have visited. In the Northeast, wineries are spread out in a number of small towns. Missouri’s wine trail takes you across the state with wineries clusters in son small towns and others spread in rural areas.
The guide book with the picture of cute kid at a piano had 134 pages packed with lots of touristy places to visit
Some of those places were wineries.
There were also big names store like Walmart, PetSmart and Big Buy. And of course the Real Canadian Superstore.
And traffic. Lots of traffic. And lots of traffic lights for all of those cars.
When we arrived at our resort campground we thought we could escape the congestion.
