When we booked our hotels, several of them listed laundry as an amenity. We asssumed that meant that somwhere on thier property there were a couple of coin operated washer and dryers.
We were surprised that both the AC Marriot in Huelva and the Holiday Inn Express near Gibraltar said they could send out laundry out but had no machines we could use.
After nearly two weeks our clothese really needed a good washing. Hand washing does a passable job for a while. Things would smell and looked better but …

Suddenly the commercials on TV made sense. There were adds about not being able to dry clothes on rainy days. As an American I am thinking, just toss them in your dyer.
We all have ideas of life based on our own societies. As we traveled in Spain, we would see laundry hanging out. When I saw it I would think we were in a poor area. Apparently many people do not own a dryer.
Finally our clothes we really clean and now know not to rely on most Eueopean hotels for our laundry needs.
