After Fort Bowie we were ready for some wine. Back through the Apache Pass to our first stop, the Bodega Pierce Winery.
The sign said masks required so we masked up, walked in a few feet sat a table and took them off. The group that came in after just walked through to the next room with no masks. I guess the rules did not apply to them.
We liked their Malvasia Bianca but we really enjoyed talking to other patrons the most. Two women were enjoying their tasting tasting tour without their husbands. They tipped us off to a winery in Wilcox with some affordable specials.
Ted and Diane were a couple originally from the Bay area by now living bear Tucson. They were outgoing like us and easy to talk with.
We rolled into the Pillsbury Winery right behind Ted and Diane. That winery had 14 different wines to sample and this time we did not share a tasting. Our server enjoyed pouring our wines.
And we enjoyed the tastings
From there, we headed ito Aridus to check out the more affordable wine.
Mrs Ram, Ted and Diane went in while Mr Ram made a call. We he finished he walked into the first winery he saw saying he was looking for his wife. She wasn’t there but two women and one guy said they could fill the position if he were rich.
The server at Aridus did not seem to have a passion for the wines and she mentioned she was leaving soon it made sense. But their Malvasia Blanca was good and more affordable than the Bodega Pierce.
