A large yellow duck? We figured this for a quick stop north of Fort Sill, snap a photo and move on.
I will say the duck is not in great shape with a hole in him and surrounded by overgrown trees.However we were surprised to find a fun little community of Medicine Park around the duck. There were shops and restaurants and odd birdhouse like hotel rooms.
Medicine park had been a resort town in the early 1900. Their bathing pond in the river is still a local draw but it cost $3 per person to jump in.And leave those glass bottles and salty language at home.
