Friends, Smoke and Isotopes

#vanlife .

We always enjoy seeing our friends in Albuquerque and were thankful they let us stay with them while we sorted out Spartys hail damage.

Our second trip to church this year was at San Ysidro in Coralles, NM. Masks, hand sanitizer, providing our names and phone number and being spaced out with rows roped off was very different from church services at the Florabama.

Smoke from Gila’s Johnson Fire rolled in during our stay. It obstructed the view of the Sandia Mountains and made hiking in Placitas more challenging.

We also took in an Isotopes Game. One of the keys to enjoying afternoon game here is getting seats in the right location. Being beheind home plate is great but in row S or above means you will shade most of the game. We were in Row P so we had to wait till the 5th inning for shade.

Mr Ram asked where he could get a score card to keep track of the game. He was surprised when the information desk gave him one for free. It took a couple of innings but Mr Ram eventually remembered how to keep score.

With some hail damage fixed and a nearly full wine box (we stopped at the Corralles Winery), we headed north…to another winery.
