After the incident in Denver we needed a spot to unwind. The Jessup Farm Barrel Brewery, a place that brews its own beer, sounded perfect. However they did not serve any food. Mrs Ram knew this before we arrived so we stopped at a king Supper for some fried chicken and potato salad.
Since the Brewery had the name “Farm” in it, we thought it might be like Joshua Farm and Vineyard. Sadly the farm was long gone but the brewery had preserved the barn.
We enjoyed perusing the menu as it had amusing beer names such as Local Area Network, Legal Problems and Senior Discount. Senior Discount might have been a good choice except for the taste of coriander. Mrs Ram opted for Legal Problems while Mr Ram chose the Wood Knot Stout.
Our waitress Holling was excited by our tales of living in our van and she made sure our glasses did not go dry.
After dinner, several rounds of beer and a few hands of cribbage we were ready to head north to Wyoming.
