Revelstoke

#vanlife .

When the Trans Canada Highway finally reopened we were looking for a place to stop for the night. Revelstoke was the next town.

We stopped at the visitors center mostly to use the restroom. The clerk there mentioned there was a band playing in the center. When we looked back outside it had started raining.

We grabbed our rain jackets and headed over. All of the good dry spots under awnings were taken by people who had arrived early. We moved a couple of chairs over to the nearest tree. The dou playing in the rain were not great but worth the price of admission.

After several songs we walked to The Craft Bierhaus. Mr Ram had Blackmail Milk Stout while Mrs Ram opted for the Four Winds Oat Porter. We enjoy sitting at the long table 8were we talked to Chase and Brady, brothers from Colorado, who were also travelling. Mrs Ram chatted with two women who were locals. As we finished the last of our beer, a couple from Sweden sat beside us.

After dinner we headed to the place the visitors center suggested, Sutton Place Hotel. When I mentioned that the visitor center sent us they happily gave us a tag to park overnight for free.It was a great spot on a cold and rainy night.
