Rock Trees, Saddles and T-Rex

PETRIFIED TREES

Finding this place is the first challenge. We had a hand drawn map form the BLM office in Buffalo WY. We did not see any signs except at the entrance.  But we did have paved road most of the way.

The walk is pleasant so long as you do not do it on a 100 degree day like we did. Looking at the petrified trees we really could imagine the forest that once stood there.

KING’S SADDLERY

We arrived late so we did not have as much time in this museum in Sheridan, WY as we would have liked. There are lots of memorabilia and saddles on two floors at the back.

We also enjoyed talking with one of the workers as she was making parts for a saddle.

T-REX MUSEUM

This is one that I wish there had been a Trip advisor review but there was not one.  Though he has a cast of a T-Rex Skull it cost us $3 to see it.  And the rest of the displays… well I included a picture below. I would have passed on it but Mrs Ram insisted. He was kind of a moody guy and not very informative.
